ECMin Mission Statement
Our mission statement is to mentor, mobilize and disciple Christian adults and children to disciple the children of all nations. This ideal mission is accomplished through strengthening all believers in their committed vision of teaching and training children in the knowledge and the ways of God.
The mission of the Ecclesia Children’s Ministries is to model the life of Christ as the example and standard for conduct and life. The goal of this mission is to have qualification within our programs and students as well as quantification. Our goal is to find, fill and equip those whom the Lord has called to work with children programs.
Teacher Training Seminars are given to teach parents and teachers how to share the message of salvation found only in Christ and to teach the principles of godly character. Teacher training materials and lesson materials are made available to parents and teachers.
Biblical teacher training techniques along with Biblical and Historical character training materials are implemented. Illustrations from world and church history are used in the character lesson materials. Animals and the use of other objects in nature are used as reinforcing illustrations in the teaching of godly character qualities.
We are committed to encourage all Christian believers both young and old to teach the foundational Biblical principles of the gospel, especially to children. We are committing ourselves to the teaching of godly character principles to children through the use of character training programs.
The goal of our program is to create a program for children will experience to be dynamic, creative, fun, challenging, interactive, provocative, thorough, organized, personal, and visual. The teachers are to make the best use of the seeing, hearing, saying, writing, doing, and teaching others forms and methods of lesson instruction.
The programs goals is to have written profiles, written program goals, written course objectives, written student expected outcomes, and a written process for parents and teachers to assess the development of the faith, character and knowledge of the children attending the program.
An oral or written exam indicating the level of a student's understanding of the course materials are to be given to each child at the beginning of their entrance into the program.
This question is to be before the minds of teachers and administrators, "How do we know that the children attending our programs are progressing in reaching the expected educational goals and course objectives for this program?"
This question will be answered through the means of periodic oral and written student exams, student oral and written testimonies, and oral and written testimonies from the teacher and mentor.
Our Program Goals
Our program goals are to include a written curriculum mission statement, a clear program vision with understandable goals for the student, and a foundational philosophy of the courses which are to be the basis for the instructional goals, the scope and sequence of the lessons.
Specific, measurable instructional objectives will flow from the instructional goals, with the scope and sequence indicating the activities, resources, and time frame used in the teaching of the materials.
The goal of our program is to develop a 7-year road map for Bible and character curriculum that will be taught by Bible and Character program teachers.
